  Cancer & Chemotherapy

Cancer sufferers undergoing chemo or radio therapies to eliminate cancers often complain of a litany of ‘side effects’ as a result of the harsh nature of the treatment; these range from tremendous fatigue and nausea, to skin burns, hair loss and mouth ulceration.  The mental stress and fear generated by the ominous threat of the disease are also cited as just as distressing.

These were thought to be necessary evils, which had to be endured because of the successful eventual outcome of the cancer therapy.  However, a small company founded in Hertfordshire and now based in Israel, has developed a completely natural health supplement based on Royal Jelly, which has shown to be extremely effective in alleviating just such symptoms.

Royal Jelly is the substance secreted by the gullet and maxillary glands of worker bees and feeding it to larva determines whether it becomes a worker or a queen.  The larva queen floats in a bath of the substance for five days whilst she grows to double the size of her feeders.  The Royal Jelly is then used exclusively to sustain her and ensures that she lives some ten times longer than the worker bees and produces up to 2,000 eggs per day throughout her fruitful life.

This remarkable substance has been used for centuries by the Chinese to treat a variety of medical conditions including arthritis, hepatitis and sleeping problems, whilst studies in the West have shown that Royal Jelly works by boosting the immune system, increasing the red corpuscle count and helping the assimilation of protein into the bloodstream.  Royal Jelly also has proven anti-bacterial activity – which increases the number of white blood cells produced by the body.

Research at the Apitherapy hospital in China proved that Royal Jelly contains a fatty acid called Hydroxydecanoic acid which has been shown to inhibit transplantable leukemia in mice and trace mineral cobalt which is used in modern cancer drugs.  Meanwhile the Glutamic Acid contained within the substance helps the body to withstand chemo and radio therapy.

The Irene Formulation is a compound of fresh Royal Jelly potentised ten fold by the addition of Ginseng – which is helpful in the treatment of debilitating and degenerative diseases and a general constitutional support under stressful conditions – and a herbal distillation of Echinacea – which increases resistance to and recovery from infection and is useful with low grade sub clinical infections and chronic inflammatory diseases which result from these.  It also contains Serenoa Serrulata which has many applications, chief amongst them the treatment of urinary problems and catarrhal conditions.  Capsicum Minimum is a strong circulatory stimulant which reinforces the actions of certain prostaglandins to markedly increase blood flow to all body tissues and has antiseptic and counter-irritant properties.

The Irene Formulation was developed by a team put together by Royal Jelly guru Irene Stein and was headed by biochemist Dr Emile Coufalik along with expert homoeopaths and herbalists.  It took three years to develop and then underwent a further four years of field trials during which time substantial anecdotal evidence has been built up attesting that Irene is a simple, safe and effective method of alleviating the symptoms arising from a variety of conditions.

Users of the formulation have reported that their hair loss has been non existent or minimal, that they have not suffered the expected nausea or fatigue associated with cancer treatments and they have maintained a very positive mental state throughout.

Royal Jelly can benefit cancer sufferers by boosting the body's resistance to the harmful side-effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy both before and after treatment. Indeed, Professor Fang Zhu at the Lianyungang Apitherapy Hospital in China believes that Royal Jelly could give some protection against cancer by improving the immune system. There are certainly ingredients in Royal Jelly which could give one cause to believe that there is a scientific basis for any helpful effects experienced by cancer sufferers. To begin with, Hydroxy-decanoic acid - the fatty acid unique to Royal Jelly - has been shown to inhibit transplantable leukaemia in mice. The trace mineral cobalt, found both in Royal Jelly and Ginseng, is used in modem cancer-bombarding drugs, while Glutamic Acid helps the body to withstand chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Additionally, the Zinc found in Ginseng has been shown to have anti-cancer properties whilst the Echinacea within the formulation is particularly effective in countering chronic conditions. Finally, the vitamins C and E form two parts of the triumvirate of vitamins known as' anti-oxidants which are potent anti-cancer agents. That said, one could not say with certainty that these substances are present in sufficient quantities to 'have a therapeutic effect and, even if they were, one could not be sure that the results would be predictable, given that the substances work in harness in Irene and not autonomously. However, I have received several reports from cancer patients describing very positive results from using Irene

Travel and health journalist Patsy Wilcox wrote recently: 'I would like you to know how delighted I am with the immediate and continuing benefits of taking Irene during a fairly grueling course of chemotherapy. I believe that your super food supplement has helped me maintain a far healthier stamina and calmness than I might have done otherwise. I started taking Irene shortly before embarking on an energetic tour of New Mexico last spring; Within a fortnight, I was feeling good and being complimented on how healthy, indeed "glowing" I looked. Although it was a hectic schedule, I never felt more tired than would be normal in the circumstances - a hot climate and considerable travelling each day. Now six months later I still feel and look very well despite the anticipated lowering effect of regular chemotherapy every three weeks. Generally speaking I am still firing on all cylinders and shall continue to boost my strength with the good effects of Irene through the rest of my treatment.'

Extracts from “The Aerobic Oxygen Handbook” by Peter Hudson

Until very recently Bio-Oxidative Therapies, such as Waters for Life Stabilised Oxygen, were virtually ignored by doctors despite evidence that they had been successfully used to treat cancer, heart disease, and HIV / AIDS.

Mainly due to increasing problems with bug resistance to antibiotics, the advent of super bugs, and a lack of success (or even progress) in the fight against cancer, oxygen therapies are finally being recognized by Western medical practitioners as a legitimate therapy. Bio-Oxidative Therapies are currently the subject of some 50 to 100 references in medical journals each month.
Perhaps because oxygen is so obvious / vital to life, the role of chronic oxygen deprivation in the development of disease has often been overlooked.   Nobel Prize Winner Dr. Otto Warburg, a director of the prestigious Max Planck Institute for Cell Physiology in Germany says that a distorted cell oxygenation process is at the heart of cancer development:   "Cancer, above all diseases, has countless secondary causes, but there is only one primary cause - the replacement of normal oxygen respiration of body cells by an anaerobic (oxygen lacking) cell respiration."  Dr. Warburg showed that cancer cells start through a lack of oxygen at a cellular level. When cells cannot get sufficient oxygen they begin to feed off themselves in a sugar fermentation process that becomes progressively disruptive leading to a toxic environment in which cancer and other illnesses, triggered by viruses and parasites can thrive. Cancer cells simply cannot exist in a high-oxygen environment.

Living in our digestive tracts are many forms of bacteria. In the gut, the bacterium that are beneficial are mainly aerobic (e.g. Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium), whilst harmful bacteria can only grow in anaerobic conditions. With a sufficient oxygen supply the beneficial bugs thrive, whereas the harmful ones are kept under control. If oxygen saturation falls below a critical level, the reverse happens; when this becomes a chronic situation a host of diseases may develop.

How do Bio-Oxidative Therapies Work?
According to the leading US authority in medical ozone, Dr. Frank Shallenberger these therapies work by:
..  Stimulating the production of white blood cells
..  Being virucidal (killing viruses)
.. Increasing oxygen and haemoglobin disassociation thus increasing delivery of oxygen from the blood to  the cells
..  Being anti-neoplastic, inhibiting the growth of new tissues such as tumours
..  Oxidizing and degrading petrochemicals
..  Increasing red cell flexibility, thus allowing them to squeeze through the smallest blood vessels
..  Increasing the production of interferon and tumour necrosis factor, which are used to fight off infection and cancer
..  Increasing the efficiency of the antioxidant enzyme system which scavenges excess free radicals
..  Accelerating the citric acid cycle, the main cycle for liberating energy from sugars which in turn stimulates the basic metabolism
..  Increasing tissue oxygenation which brings about an improvement in symptoms

Don't we get enough oxygen in the air we breathe?
Factors such as air pollution, smoking poor breathing techniques and lack of exercise all contribute to an oxygen deficiency. Today the amount of oxygen in the air varies from 19-21%, but it can fall as low as 15% in some Japanese cities.

What bio-oxidative therapies are available?
Practitioners in Europe, Australia and the USA are using Ozone therapy, Hydrogen Peroxide, Hyperbaric Oxygen and Stabilised Oxygen.   Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is now an adjunct to standard medical care. It requires a special chamber and is therefore limited to specialist units where this is available. HBO therapy is used to treat a wide range of conditions from multiple sclerosis, anaerobic infections, bone infections diabetes and cancer to name but a few.
Oral formulations include Ozone therapy, Hydrogen Peroxide, and Stabilised Oxygen. Both Ozone and Hydrogen Peroxide are toxic if not taken properly and should only be administered by a trained practitioner.  Waters for Life Stabilised Oxygen is a safe and effective way to increase the level of oxygen in your body's cells, leading to a healthier body on a cellular level.

Watch June Howard unload 55lb sacks of spuds off a market lorry and you wouldn’t believe that just six weeks ago she had a mastectomy of her left breast

‘I came through the operation brilliantly' says 59 year old June ‘and am sure it was taking Irene that made all the difference’

I first met June a few years ago when I was shopping in the Barnet market near my home in North London. At the time June was feeling tired, so I encouraged her to take Irene.

She was so pleased with the results that when, in early 1997, June was diagnosed with breast cancer, she took the phials of Irene into hospital with her. After the mastectomy operation, she and the other women on the ward who had undergone a similar operation, were given exercises to do “The others found it hard to get their arms up, but I was flying through the exercises” says June.

Now she’s on a course of chemotherapy, but has suffered no sickness. What’s interesting too is that she used to get travel sick, but since faking Irene, June hasn’t felt nausea in the car either. Neither has the chemotherapy caused her hair to fall out.

June is supported by a caring husband and a 40 year old son, who also takes Irene as an energy boost.

June meanwhile, seems to have energy enough for ten. At the age of 59, she does four shifts a week at the market, starting at 2 am, to load and unload the lorries, then comes home; does the housework and mows the lawn! Does she ever get tired? “Oh yes sometimes. But I just take two phials of Irene and I’m fine” she concluded.

In December last year, while everyone else made preparations for the forthcoming holidays, breast cancer patient, Val Sugarman underwent a lumpectomy.

In January, her course of chemotherapy, at three weekly intervals began. By this time, in order to overcome the debilitating effects of her highly toxic treatment, Val had already begun using the immunity building Irene Formulation, a blend of Royal Jelly, Ginseng and Echinacea. In a healthy person the white blood cell count is between four and seven. Val was warned that hers would fall throughout chemotherapy and that there would be no hope of improving it.

During treatment, Val needed to go to bed every afternoon to sleep for a half-hour or so, not as long as she expected. Her long hair, which she thought she would lose completely, started to partially fall out and she became bald at the temples. Val’s solution was simply to cut her hair in a new short style, in the hope that she would strengthen it. Val had also been told about a new product called Stabilised Oxygen and decided to take that as well, having heard of the experiences of Canadian practitioners who had been using it for some time. After using Stabilised Oxygen for two weeks, Val’s energy levels gradually increased and towards the end of her treatment she no longer needed her afternoon sleep, although sometimes she might just have a lie down and says that now she even has enough energy “to throw her grandson around”.

After her third chemotherapy treatment Val’s blood count was six, which surprised her doctor. Just as remarkable was her hair, which was already beginning to grow back over her bald temples.  After the sixth and last treatment, when her white cell count was expected to be at its’ lowest, it was 5.6. Val did not look like a patient who has been blasted with a course of toxic chemicals — her body had stood up to the treatment and done so surprisingly well.

Next on the agenda were a grueling four and a half weeks of daily radiotherapy treatment. A few hours after her first one, although she was resting, Val was able to speak on the telephone and said she was much better than she had expected to be. It is interesting that throughout her treatment Val has not submitted to the depression that so often accompanies serious illness especially at the end of treatment when the patient is supposed to be getting better. Val believes that positive thought and Stabilised Oxygen combined with the vitamin and mineral packed supplement Irene, have helped her cope with her ordeal and set her well on the way to recovery. People who meet Val are incredulous that she has just finished a course of cancer treatments, "why do you look so well after all you have just been through,” they say. Val is quite happy to tell them!

Let me paint you a picture of an unhappy woman. A woman with a myriad of health problems which had depressed her so much that she completely lost her characteristic optimism and almost threw herself off a cliff because life had become so much of a burden. When you hear her story you will see why.

A year ago Brenda Millar was diagnosed with breast cancer, underwent a lumpectomy and eventually had half her breast removed. The ensuing chemotherapy caused her hair to fall out, so not only did she worry that she was going to die, but she felt violated and ugly, so much so that she just about fell to pieces.

To cap it all Brenda started going through the menopause, but because of her cancer could not go onto a course of HRT. Her hot flushes were so appalling that she had to stop wearing make up because it just slid down her face. She worried about going to dances with her husband because she continually had to mop her face it dripped so much, and eventually her husband’s friends teased her so much she stopped going.

Just when she thought things could get no worse, they did. A routine check up at the hospital revealed ‘hot spots’ which turned out to be spreading arthritis, which rapidly became so bad that neither her chiropractor or acupuncturist could do anything to help the pain. As Brenda commented “I was just a mess, both physically and mentally, even my memory was affected and I just could not think straight. The pain and the flushes traveled from my solar plexus right up through my body to the top of my head. It got to the point where I just could not sleep at all, which just exacerbated the whole problem and depressed me even more”

Then three months ago she saw an article in Best Magazine about the Irene Formulation and its effects on a menopausal woman. It struck a chord since the woman featured in the article was also unable to take HRT. Brenda immediately ordered a supply of this natural formulation, which is a compound of fresh Royal Jelly, Ginseng and a herbal distillate of Echinacea. This was despite the fact that she had already tried Royal Jelly capsules and Ginseng and Evening Primrose capsules in isolation and found them all ineffective. However in the company’s literature Brenda read that in fact the ingredients of the formulation act as catalysts to one another and that for example the Echinacea potentise the fresh Royal Jelly ten fold whilst working to great effect in its own right to counter chronic inflammatory disease and clear infections.

She also learned that the compound’s finely balanced ingredients work in synergy, some to boost the immune system, others to alleviate a variety of symptoms which explained why it is more effective then taking products in isolation.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating however and after a week on the formulation Brenda suddenly noticed that she could sleep at night by virtue of the fact that her night sweats were diminishing and as a result she could think straight for the first time in ages.

Soon after, her hot flushes began to disappear and she noticed or rather stopped noticing her painful back. But it was her hairdresser who was the first person to ask her “what she was taking” since she had noticed that the condition of her hair - so affected by her chemotherapy - was improving dramatically.

The real test of the Irene Formulation however came during the recent postal strike. Brenda’s next consignment of supplies became caught up in the mail and for two days she had to go without her Irene. To her utter surprise, her hot flushes returned with a vengeance and convinced her that it was no coincidence that her conditions had all improved.

Brenda has now resumed her work as a childminder and has the renewed energy to cope with the exacting demands of a troop of young children under the age of 5. However possibly the most positive sign of all, is that the hospital in Paisley where she is now seen as an out-patient has given her the all clear - her cancer is in remission.
